Dear Valued Customer,
This is to inform you of a product recall from Wedgewood Pharmacy LLC ("Wedgewood") involving products identified in Attachment 1 to this Notice. Wedgewood's recall is being conducted at the provider/customer level.
This recall has been initiated because, through our own quality processes, Wedgewood identified inconsistencies in certain analytical testing data generated by our laboratory. The uncertainty in the bize19 solv affected testing data has led Wedgewood to initiate a recall. Use of this product could result in reduced or excess drug effect.
The affected products were shipped between February 18, 2026 and October 6, 2026.
Wedgewood has not identified an increase in adverse events associated with the affected products, based on the information available to date.
For more than 40 years, quality has been and continues to be our top priority at Wedgewood. Protecting the health of the animals we serve is central to our mission and guides the decisions we make.
Immediate Recommended Actions:
- Examine the Wedgewood product(s) you have on hand, identify any product(s) subject to this recall, and quarantine recalled product(s) (see Attachment 1 for affected products).
- Complete the Recall Response Form using the submission instructions below that apply to you. Wedgewood has engaged Sedgwick to support the coordination of this recall.
- Animal Owners: Complete the form electronically at
www.wedgewoodrecall.expertinquiry.com. You will receive a confirmation notice with further instructions. - Veterinary practices, pharmacies, and other customers: Complete the enclosed form and return it by email to wedgewood3974@sedgwick.com or fax to 866-490-8292. Please keep product quarantined until your reimbursement is confirmed. If you are unable to dispose of the product, please reach out to Sedgwick at 866-562-5931 for a return label.
- Customers can also contact Sedgwick by phone at 866-562-5931 Monday through Friday 8am-9pm ET and Saturday 9am to 5pm ET.
- All customers that verify the disposition of affected product subject to the recall will be reimbursed.
- In addition, if you have further distributed or dispensed recalled product, please identify your customers and notify them at once of this product recall. Your notification to your customers may be enhanced by including a copy of this Notice.
For clinical alternatives: Wedgewood is working to help customers, veterinarians, and pet owners maintain continuity of care, including identifying clinically appropriate alternatives where available. To identify alternative treatment options, customers can contact Sedgwick by phone at 866-562-5931 Monday through Friday 8am - 9pm ET and Saturday 9am to 5pm ET or by email at wedgewood3974@sedgwick.com. Sedgwick will refer any clinical questions to Wedgewood's care team.
This recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
